Well, now you can get her to do it without being embarrassed on national television – kind of. London is launching a personal style business called Style for Hire, which will employ fifteen stylists at the time of its launch (scheduled for September 13th). Eventually, she, along with business partner and friend Cindy McLaughlin, hopes to expand the business to over 2,000 – 2,500 stylists with locations in New York, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, and Boston (among others). Ms. London has announced her intentions of hand-selecting each and every stylist, whose services will go for $100 an hour. So what can you get at that price? The stylist will go through your closet, getting rid of items you shouldn’t have in there and mixing and matching to create new looks from among what’s left. Personal shopping services are also available. So you tell me – for $100, would you spend an hour with a Stacy London-approved stylist? I know I’d love to have someone edit my closet for me, especially if it meant not having to appear on What Not To Wear!
