When it’s this cold and nasty outside, there’s really only one thing I want: for spring to come, and soon. But then again, there’s an upside to this time of year as well. Even though it’s still freezing outside, stores are clearing their inventories of winter clothes to make way for the new spring stuff coming in, and you can really take advantage of these lower prices. I’ve been looking for the cutest winter accessories out there, and they’re all on sale!
Infinity scarves have been popular this winter, and I particularly liked this one from Magaschoni , because it looks like it loops gracefully without any awkward extra fabric (plus, it’s currently way on sale at $66.99, down from $168). And if you want a little more glitz with your scarf, try this one from Banana Republic (the sequins are very on-trend, and it’s currently only $24.99, down from $69.50!)
I have also been dying for a chunky sweater-style scarf like this one from Portolano ($59, down from $99.) Lucky also has a cute version in navy or red ($48, down from $69 retail.) I like this scarf, also from Lucky, because the striped underside adds an element of interest (that one is on sale for $34.99, originally $69). For those who are looking for a more colorful way to keep your neck warm, you can’t go wrong with this adorable Kate Spade scarf (down to $76 from the original $95.
Bluefly also has some great deals on Portolano leather gloves: their silk-lined driving gloves (pictured) are currently on sale for $49.99 (from $125 originally!) and their crocodile-printed gloves are only $75 (from $125).
This Eugenia Kim hat is a great deal – currently on sale for only $100.99, compared to the retail price of $253 (!!) – plus it’s got a crucial element for keeping out the cold. Ear flaps!
These MICHAEL Michael Kors ear muffs are another cute way to keep your ears warm, and they’re only $18 from $38 originally.
But really, if you just can’t take the cold any more, chances are you’re going to need this. It can’t get cozier than fur (don’t worry people, it’s faux), and the price can’t be beat – it’s available for $66, which is a steal compared to its retail value of $110. Stay warm!
