If you’ve been paying close attention to your Instagram account, you’ll have noticed a giant floppy straw hat featured on celebrities and models alike in exotic locales.
The Jacquemus Hat, $470, was designed by the new biggest fashion name, Simon Porte Jacquemus. This 100% straw hat was designed in France. When you are looking to give off a mysterious Hollywood vibe this summer, the Jacquemus hat is just what you need. With this hat you can instantly become an Instagram model and pictures look more artsy and mysterious because of it. Celebrities like Bella Hadid, Sabina Karlsson, Anja Rubik, and Duchess actress Emma Leth have been wearing it. What a stylish way to hide from the sun or people, or stage a great photoshoot.
This dramatic hat is pretty versatile. Bella Hadid was styling the Jacquemus hat at the beach, just as many of us would think to wear it. There is no better hat to avoid sunburn. You could also follow Emma Leth’s fashion style and wear it at your own wedding. Instead of a vale she wore the big floppy hat, which did the same job the vale would have done. Just bending it down covers your entire torso. Leth got the chance to feel like a bride in her own way of style. Sabina Karlsson on the other hand decided to bring the hat into her pregnancy photos. These two celebrities found their own unique way to show off this new trend.
If you are looking to style this hat like our celebs do but don’t have their budget then H&M’s large straw hat is the perfect option. H&M’s hat has a very close resemblance to the Jacquemus. This hat has even the same rolled section on the brim. The only difference is that this hat is made with 100% paper straw. If the price tag is a bit too steep, you can either buy a lookalike hat at H&M for $34.99. Zappos also has a very affordable option at $39.
If you want the real thing, be warned, it it flying off the shelves, so if you can find one in stock, pounce!
