The boyfriend and I just got a new place, and while the prospects of decorating it are overwhelming, I love being able to start from scratch and transform the space.
One of the most important rooms to both him and me is the kitchen. We try to cook as much as we can and entertain friends, so it’s important for both of us that the kitchen is both inviting and warm, but functional.
I decided to go with copper accents throughout the kitchen, something that gives the space a rustic feel. Here are some essentials to help you create a copper kitchen, or at least add some copper accents!
Moscow mule glasses. I’ve chronicled my love for this drink before and as we know, the love of the drink was sparked by my love of the shiny, pretty glasses. Added bonus – they keep cold liquids super warm.
While we’re on the alcohol theme, we picked up this copper cocktail shaker for our new barcart (which also has copper detailing)
You’ll obviously need these copper bar tools as well
This copper set of Cooks Tools is a great alternative to the black or white plastic sets most people have. Also, it’s just $6.99 a piece.
I strive to one day only have copper cookwear. But until I hit it big, it’s just this stock pot for us. Super versatile for making sauces, chillis and other dishes.
In terms of adding design elements to your kitchen that can help you capitalize on the copper trend, we love these metallic copper succulent pots, which are only $13!
