Designer Salavatore Ferragamo has commissioned a children’s book in commemoration of this 8oth Birthday. The story is whimsical and follows the story of personified animals. The book will be available at Ferragamo boutiques this fall for $40. If the book is as beautiful as his clothing, I’m all for it. And if it instills some fashion sense into children, then that’s an added plus. Maybe it will help kids stop their moms from dressing them in colored denim or overalls.
