As you all know DJ AM tragically passed away and there have been reports that the former drug addict, that had been sober for nearly 10 years, relapsed resulting in his death. Nearly a year ago he and Blink 182’s Travis Barker were in a plan crash that killed all other passengers and the highly addictive pain killers prescribed to him and the recent breakup with his ex have had the 36-year-old DJ feeling depressed. Either way it’s a horrible story and he will be greatly missed in the music community and in Hollywood. Here’s what close friends have said about his passing:

Ex-gf Mandy Moore had this to say: I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend. To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones
John Mayer tweeted: We’re supposed to lose our friends to time, at an age when we’re ready to agree to the terms of having lived a long life. Not now
Paris Hilton tweeted: R.I.P. AM, I love you and you are already missed so much. My heart and prayers go out to his family and close friends. God bless.
