Self Challenge

The Summer is quickly approaching, too quickly, and I know many of us would like to shed a few pounds to get a bikini-ready body. Now’s the perfect time to start the Self Challenge. Run by Self Magazine, this is a free tool that helps you monitor your diet and keep you motivated. It’s really simple- you can monitor your food intake daily by logging in each meal you have and adding up calories per day and week. I find that being forced to write down what you eat makes you more conscious about eating nutritious food. No one wants to write down chocolate brownie on their log. My favorite feature is the exercise chart where you record your exercises each day and provide the amount of time you worked out and it configures how many calories you burned. It even makes a weekly and monthly chart to track your minutes/calories. Also, for every time you log on and register a meal or workout you are registered for prizes. Why not give it a try?
