Now is the time of year when all the big fashion houses release their resort collections, made for all of you lucky enough to get the hell out of this cold weather. Here is a preview of some of the looks that will be big this year:

Nanette Lepore, Missoni and DVF are just some of the labels incorporating this trend nicely. Bold Maxi Dresses will also be big this summer, but try them on ahead of time because they tend to look odd on shorter girls.
Bootie sandals will be popping onto the scene this spring and I have to admit, I didn’t like the look at first but it’s growing on me. These Chloe Bootie Sandals go for $575. look for ones with thicker heels like the ones pictured. Gladiator styles will also remain popular into this summer so don’t ditch your’s just yet.
Tunics paired with short shorts like this Tory Burch outfit shown are a good casual look for vacay and could be dressed up for nighttime with a few changes.
