Paris Fashion Week has been nothing short of spectacular. Makeup and hair trends ranged some the romantic subtle makeup and hair to the edgy rocker style. At Dior, Betty Paige inspired hair and makeup was seen. Bright colored eye shadows and bold brows complimented the bright colored clothing perfectly. Even the models lips were painted with bright fuchsia and orange colors. The models hair was curled and pined up with straight across bangs depicting the Betty Paige look perfectly, which design John Galliano said was fun and very sweet.
At Chanel (pictured) smoky eyes were queen paired with a pale pink pout. Models sported sage green and gray nails, two of the hottest colors this season.
At Lanvin, the Spring 2011 collection was very sporty and architectural and the makeup and hair reflected that. Two sets of false lashes were used and brows were natural looking and beige lipstick was applied to lips. Makeup artist Pat McGrath said she wanted the models to have perfect skin and achieved that with foundation and a layer of powder. The cheeks were given warmth with a slight bit of blush. Hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail showing off the face and natural look.
At Yves St. Laurent (pictured), the seventies that has been inspiring designers all throughout Fashion Week was depicted in the hair and makeup at this show. The look was Edwardian meets the seventies but minimal at the same time. The twisted up do was sophisticated but depicts the classic Saint Lauren kind of women. Again the makeup was natural with just a brush of highlighter on the cheekbones and burgundy lips. No mascara and bleached brows also were seen on the models. The look was very Yves St. Laurent and a classic.
