BCBG helped kick off the first day of New York City’s fashion week with a collection that paired nearly every look with white mockneck turtlenecks. Not a fan. Seriously they were paired with sleeveless dresses, tanks, jackets, you name it.
Another theme – drapey. The clothes hung from the models’ bodies, doing nothing for their figures, but it worked for some of the pieces.
The highlight of the show for me were the jackets. They were heavy wool and had an equestrian feel to them that really complimented the pieces nicely pulling together the looks.
I’m also a fan on the sheer fabrics BCBG employed in many of the looks. The sheer overlays worked well with their dresses, creating a whimsical feel
