I’ve literally tried everything to curl my thick, frizzy hair. My typical routine requires drying my hair, straightening it and then curling it with a curling iron. It’s time consuming and causes a ton of heat damage to my hair, but until now, it’s literally the only thing that’s ever worked. I even tried the Dyson Airwrap and NOPE. And forget about heatless curls — that was a total pipedream that produced curls that didn’t hold and were also way frizzy.
So, when I heard rave reviews of Mane Label hair Co’s Sway curling ribbon, I was understandably extremely skeptical. Even after reading the hundreds of glowing testimonials, I was happy for all of the people it worked for, but was convinced my hair would fall flat or be completely frizzy. But, for $39, it was worth the trial.
Boy am I glad I bough this item. From the first time I put it in my hair, it has produced the most beautiful waves day after day. I’ve never been complimented on my hair more in my life, and buying this item coincided with my becoming a sleep-deprived mom with literally no time to do my hair let alone brush my teeth some days. Needless to say, it’s been 5 months since I purchased the Sway and I haven’t even touched my straightener or curling iron since, and I have no intentions of ever doing so again.
Basically, you wrap your partially dry hair in this wrap and sleep in it, or wear it for a few hours and then voila — curls. I also use it on my completely dry dirty hair on days 2-4 after drying it and it has the same exact results.
No matter what your hair type, I guarantee you will love the Sway. I don’t think I was exaggerating when I texted my best friend Michelle that this is the best product I’ve bought over the last decade, including my Chanel bag.
