The conclusion to London Fashion Week left “fashionistas” lusting over these great trends. The designers of the spring/summer 2012 season brought their A- game showing off fun-filled, feminine collections. Christopher Kane came out on top with, in my opinion, and others, the best show of the week. Personally, I cannot wait to hit the streets sporting these marvelous trends! Gives all of us fashion lovers something to look forward to in these next cold and brutal months.
Prints, prints, prints! This upcoming season is all about funky, feminine, prints. This mini dress from the Christopher Kane collection shows off a fun yet girly side that ever girl wants to portray. This spring/summer it’s all about having fun with your clothes. From printed dresses, to pants, to accessories, every girl can have fun and add a little “print” in
her style.
You don’t need to be going to an office to wear a jacket! Fashion East shows us how it’s done. Yes, pastels are back; the perfect shade to be sporting in the warmer weather. The men’s wear and the feminine color work together in perfect harmony to show off a flirty, edgy look. The simplicity of the “office” look and the innocent ruffles make this the perfect spring go-to look!
Orange ya’ glad orange is in…AGAIN? Dig deep into your closet and pull our all of your orange pieces from last spring/summer. Yes, that’s right, orange is the new, OLD color for this spring/summer. This eye-popping ensemble from Matthew Williamson’s line makes you stand out with style. Not committed to wear an edgy outfit like this? Throw an orange accessory with your simple outfit; make you stand out in no time!
This isn’t the early 20th century; women now a day are sporting edgy, cool pants. So long skirts! Nicole Farhi’s line shows crazy yet fun patters on pants that can be paired with a pair of nude heels and a plain-t and still let you have that “right off the runway” look!
Bare it all this spring! Warm weather equals sexy looks. Lace and sheer make every woman look feminine and stylish. Right off the runway from the Jonathan Saunders collection, lace and sheer is one look that will never go out of style. Whether it’s a night out on the town, or a simple get together with girl friends. You can never go wrong with sexiness, and elegance.
Thanks for the re-cap and your great ideas!! Was wondering what to do with a pair of “crazy” design pants I have, and you gave me a great tip!!!
