After the shocking yet stylish season 4 of Gossip Girl. The show has returned with a night full of daring, fresh glam.
“Add a pop of color, or two, or three”
Serena shows up this episode as a true Cali girl wearing a sensational Mike Gonzalez yellow and pink illusion print wrap dress. The accessories, a chunky mustard beaded necklace and coral floral choker, compliment her colorful vibe. These lively shades added to her new flirty and ultra-feminine style. The green Louis Vuitton “Monogram Vernis Alma Bag” is an absolute all year round perfection piece. This outfit proves that throwing together a palette of perfectly complimentary colors can work, and turn heads. (Whether you’re in Hollywood like Serena or not!)
“Boho Is Back”
The boho babe has returned in a raspberry red Rag & Bone maxi skirt and a Theory embellished vest. The vest, a sold out item from spring 2011, makes this outfit go from simple to stand out. The Valentino one-of-a-kind Python Purse hanging on her delicate little arm is literally to die for. Python is so in this season and if you have $3,845 dollars to spend on an in-style item for fall, THIS IS SURE TO BE IT!
“Turning Over a New Leaf?”
Blair’s “leafy, go-green” tea length Oscar de la Renta summer gown is highlighted by the Nancy Gonzalez pop color clutch. The print on this dress makes it so intricate, and a truly flawless “Blair look.” It’s a shame she left behind that bejeweled blinged out choker she had on. She could’ve just fed-exed it to me!
“Blossoming Blair”
Blair’s style has truly matured over the seasons. This adorable outfit consists of three key looks to a fresh feminine look: A Christian Cota strappy floral dress, a dangly choker, and tangerine-red lip color. I think this is the perfect amount of sweetness to compliment a sassy personality like Blair Warldorf.
MY GG BLAST OF THE WEEK
“Mystery Woman”
Has anyone spotted Nate’s new lady friend, played by Elizabeth Hurley? Only one episode in and she already is known in my book for wearing curve hugging dresses and tight plunging necklines. This Dolce & Gabbana leopard strapless dress is the perfect party print (when worn the right way!)
I would love to see this new character, Diane Payne, come out next episode with more of a sophisticated womanly persona.
MAN OF THE WEEK:
“Bringing Sexy Back”
Chuck spotted: unveiling his perfection from his motorcycle helmet. He was sporting an authentic brown leather jacket and white pants, only a look a daredevil like he could pull off. No matter if he’s wearing a polished preppy suit or a pair of silk boxers for all I care, he is always nailing it!
