It’s back to school on Gossip Girl, and (as expected), none of the outfits pictured look anything remotely like something an actual college student would wear to class. Let me tell you, I’ve taken a few classes at Columbia and not once did I see anyone dressed like this – but at this point we have to ask ourselves, would Serena and Blair actually wear jeans to class? I didn’t think so. Otherwise, the episode was chock full of hot fall trends, like leopard print (more on that to come – stay tuned!) and sequins. I mean honestly, was anyone they showed during the Fashion’s Night Out scenes NOT wearing sequins? Even Vanessa in Brooklyn and Georgina on her way back from the “spa” got the sequin memo. Serena also wore a flowing, caftan-style dress (belted – again, hot for fall) but in true Serena fashion, it was almost short enough to be a shirt. Technically, maybe it was. My vote for best dressed this episode goes to my new favorite character, Eva. Her European boho-chic style is amazing, and I would kill for the dress she wore to FNO…and speaking of FNO, major props to GG for getting so many celebrity cameos!
