Just when I was thinking that this show was getting a bit much, and that it wasn’t holding my interest like it used to, holy cow – I am going to be on the edge of my seat until next Monday, because I can’t wait to see what happens! I wish I could say the same for the fashion though. Blair looked good this episode, but I feel as though most other characters have regressed. Serena has definitely lapsed back into her cleavage-baring ways (I mean, not even the fact that her arms were entirely covered could make up for the gigantic amount of chest that was exposed). Plus, the rest of that top was just kind of strange. This was actually a big episode for tops – we’ve already covered Serena’s black top, but the shirts she and Blair wore at the beginning of the episode were both really nice. And although I am getting into Juliet a little more, her outfits are still on the ridiculous (or unbelievable) end. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think she was wearing a jacket with no back at the end of the episode. And since jackets are separated at the front as well, does that mean she was just wearing…sleeves? I have to have been seeing something wrong. Also, welcome back (temporarily) Little J came back! And this time her wardrobe was much better and she had ever so slightly less eye makeup, which was a huge improvement. I actually thought her collection looked pretty cute, from what I could see of it. And Blair’s minions are starting to morph into crazy, coordinated PTA minions. First primary colors on top with khaki-colored bottoms, then sliver party dresses with chunky necklaces and/or halter tops – I think they might have veered past “coordinating” right into “matching”!
