Sometimes I feel like a broken record when it comes to recapping Gossip Girl fashion: Serena is inappropriate, Jenny is inappropriate, Blair is pretty (And sometimes, I must confess, I feel like I’m watching the same episode, even though it’s a new week with new drama). But this week, I think even Blair let me down. Two of her outfits (both short floral printed dresses) were nice, but her formal gown really had me wondering – is extra fabric on our hips really how we want to make the most of our figures? Check out this picture for comparison. The similarity is striking, is it not?
On another note, I have a question for you – this week, Nate wore a dark blue shirt with a black suit and black tie, something my husband remarked he’s been seeing a lot of lately. What do you think? Is dark blue with black a do these days, or a major don’t?
