I’ve never really been a watch person – I’ve had a couple over the years, but nothing has ever stuck around after it broke or the battery ran out. However, after getting a look at Bloomingdale’s selection of colorful watches, I might need to rethink my opinion. I really like the white ones, because they go with anything. And the oversized watches keep catching my eye. I think I could really wear this Emporio Armani all the time – very chic, and without the astronomical price tag of some other watches that I liked. But this summer is about bright colors as well, and you can find some great options in watches, especially for those who don’t want to invest in a ton of neon clothing. You want pink? You got it, from Juicy Couture or Michael Kors. Orange? How can you not like something called the Jelly Bean Watch? Purple? Adidas and Marc Jacobs have got you covered. DKNY jumps on both the colorful and the clear plastic trends, with adorable watches in turquoise and green. But nothing says pure summer more than this watch – it looks like a watermelon!
