Dolce and Gabbana is notorious for their controversial advertisements that are sure to catch attention, but this time it seems they went too far. This “fantasy rape” advertisement received backlash across the globe, especially in Europe, for glorifying violence against women and gang rape. Spain has banned the ad and other countries are following suit and are also boycotting. I can see why people are up in arms. I mean, it’s not like the ad is even featuring clothes or sunglasses, instead the focal point is the violence. What do you think– have they gone too far? (UPDATE: Read our post on all of the politically incorrect things Dolce & Gabbana have said, including their comments on gay adoption, Selena Gomez and their racist ads in China)

This is disgusting and appalling. I’ve done volunteered work for institutions that help rape victims and it’s traumatic to be around them. These asshole should be raped to see how enjoyable it is.
@Jacob
You are no better than them. I do agree that this ad is a bit too suggestive and puts an erroneously positive view on group raping but wishing rape upon someone else is just cruel. You said that you have witnessed the trauma rape victims endure after the incident. Why would you wish that kind of pain and suffering upon someone else? If you were really against this add then you would seek a future without rape as opposed to justifying rape by giving a half-assed excuse like “they should know what being raped feels like.” That just prolongs the tragedy known as rape you mindless imbecile. This is coming from a 17 year old and you’re an adult saying that? You’re pathetic.
