Designer Collaboration: Lanvin for H&M

The first picture of H&M’s latest designer collaboration, with high-fashion line Lanvin, has now leaked out on the internet, which is good news for all of us. Now we can check out some of the pieces that much sooner! The collection will include both womenswear and menswear, and Margareta van den Bosch, H&M’s creative advisor, says Lanvin brings “a luxurious French tradition that is also modern and playful. It is very much a Lanvin collection, using their cut and tailoring, with lots of focus on form and details for both women and men.” However, this initial image shows just female models, so we only get a peek at the women’s clothes. Personally, I love the ruffled dress on the right. I’m all about waists these days, and the ruffles are on-trend without being too heavy or overwhelming. This collection comes on the heels of H&M’s joint efforts with other big-name designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Comme des Garcons.

If you (like me) can’t wait to get your hands on these clothes, they hit H&M stores worldwide on November 23. No word yet on the number of pieces or pricing, so if you have any details please share them with us!
