The cast of Crazy Rich Asians is just as stylish as their movie counterparts. If you follow good blockbuster movies, you’ll know this movie is full of comedy and amazing fashion. The cast have been proving their point styling on the red carpet in couture gowns and piercing suits.
Crazy Rich Asians earned a whopping $236 million in box office revenue, the first film since Joy Luck Club to have an all Asian cash. (Also, you can recap our favorite looks from the Crazy Rich Asians movie here.)
It’s clear this cast a has a good sense of fashion, let’s see all their best looks dazzling on the red-carpet:
The movie’s lead, Constance Wu, brought her A game for this red-carpet event. Wu hit the red carpet in a dazzling metallic gown by Ralph and Russo Couture. This gown featured 200,000 crystals and was made with 90 carats of diamonds. In total, this gown took approximately 765 hours to make. This dress is from a spring summer ’18 collection which made it’s debut in Paris at Couture Fashion Week.
Gemma Chan looked stunning in Oscar de la Renta. This intricately embellished dress was bound to turn heads sue to its dazzling nature and flattering silhouette. Gemma topped it off with her Chopard jewels and silver sandals to complement the dress perfectly.
Awkwafina joined her co-stars by making a dramatic entrance wearing Reem Acra for the premiere of the movie. She released her inner diva with a dusty-pink satin gown featuring a pop of contrast with a red satin bow.
Victoria Loke stepped out in Preen by Thornton Bregazzi. The asymmetrical layers in this dress really show off her cute “fairy” side. The intricate details keep this dress looking stunning and very unique.
Kris Aquino, who plays Princess Intan, showed off her figure in a custom-made yellow gown by Micheal Leyva. She also accessorized her look with Diagold jewels and a ‘Love” clutch. Completely nailing her red-carpet look.
Constance Lau stepped out in a custom-made dress by Time Taken To Make a Dress. This dress has all the elements we like, the delicate fabric, the way it moves, and details you can see from close or far away. The designer said the process of hand-sewing the lace, painting of the fabric, and hand placing tassels took a lot of time to perfect. The designer wanted to represent Singapore so picking Constance for this dress was the perfect choice.
Michelle Yeoh was back on the red carpet wearing a super sophisticated Armani Prive dress. Although having her hair in this crazy pony tail. The accessory choices were maybe a little out there but we still love what she did with her look.
Awkwafina returned to the red carpet wearing a bold, head-turning Mulberry scarlet red shade shirt, which amped up the outfit as a whole. She completed this look with Nicholas Kirkwood heels, which made all the difference.
