Designer collaborations are coming thick and fast this summer, and Versace’s pairing with H&M is just the latest in what is going to be a very stylish fall. This collaboration is coming in two phases, with the first half debuting November 17th, and the second January 19th (a prespring collection). They will include a women’s collection, a men’s collection, and a selection of home goods like pillows and bedspreads, which is a first for H&M.
H&M is being very proactive about these clothes, which it is calling an “Iconic Collection,” and has chosen to release pictures rather than trying to keep them secret. They always seem to leak out anyway, don’t they? But the best press of all appeared at the end of the Versace menswear show in Milan in the form of Donatella herself, wearing a Versace for H&M dress.
