Dynamic duo, Barabara Potts and Catherine Saks, are pushing the boundaries for people to embrace more colors in their outfits and now they can, with Saks Potts. Their whimsical visions have made them a favorite in the fur industry.
The luxurious coats are very memorable, with their billowing fur collar and embellished fur cuffs, just log into Instagram, any fashion “it” girl is probably wearing one of these stylish coats.
In 2013, Saks and Potts launched their brand when they were only 19-years-old, just learning the ropes of the fur industry. Their first ever collection consisted of a single fur coat in multiple vibrant colors, and turned out to be a major hit among customers like Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga. That coat, their Belted Shearling-trimmed Patent-leather Coat, is available on Net-A-Porter for $1,735.
During Copenhagen Fashion Week last August, Potts and Saks provided their audience with plenty of ‘90s fashion to enjoy. “From the beginning of our brand, it’s been our mission to make clothes that you should have fun wearing,” says Saks, backstage at Fashion Week.
Kendall Jenner channeled her inner Copenhagen cool girl on her 23rd birthday, riding around on her Citi Bike in a deep green fur trench coat by the Danish label, paired with a simple turtle neck, jeans, and a pair of Yeezy sneakers.
The Saks Potts coat has become fairly known by insiders within the last year or so, and started catching celebrity’s eyes. The furry green coat spotted on Kendall Jenner, was worn in a lime green color version by Cardi B on the red carpet. Selena Gomez hopped on the trend too, wearing a metallic neon green, ice skater-inspired top and pants for her music video for “Taki Taki”.
