Brooklinen vs. Frette Bedding and Sheets

Brooklinen vs. Frette Bedding
We were surprised that our reasonable priced Brooklinen bedding seemed higher quality than Frette

We just renovated our Brooklyn brownstone and needed to upgrade all of our bedding. A few years ago, I splurged on a bedding set from Italian bedding company, Frette. This 160-year-old company is known to have provided bedding to royalty, was used upon the Orient Express and even the Kardashians are fans, so I used that to justify the pretty exorbitant expense. And while the Frette Ultimate Sheet Set was beautiful when they arrived and super crisp and luxurious, they did not by any means withstand the test of time. Within a year, buttons were falling off the duvet cover. Then, the sheets began literally tearing and breaking apart. It was confounding. My cheap sheets never even broke down in such a way, let alone $3,000 sheets!

So, this time around I opted for Brooklinen sheets. They are great looking, well reviewed and very affordable. We got the Class Percale Set and are thrilled with it. They are crisp, soft, high quality and look great on our bed. They are super comfy to sleep in, and get this, the entire bundle (sheets, duvet cover, pillow cases and more) costs just $230! I’ve done a few washes and they have held up great. Will circle back with how they withstand the test of time!
