One of the most therapeutic things for me is painting my nails, and being able to wipe off the polish on my hands and choose a new color depending on my mood or where I’m going. There used to be a time when I stuck to french manicures and colors that I thought were appropriate (light pinks and nudes), but then I moved to New York City and everywhere I looked I saw bright colored nails with the funkiest designs.
