Celebrated for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in cult television show “Sex and the City,” as well as being a top fashion inspiration for many and designer of her own shoe line, Sarah Jessica Parker has blown us away, yet again. Now, you can get pieces from the Sarah Jessica Parker Bridal Line. The fashionista has taken on another project: collaborating with clothing company Glit to make wedding attire.
What can’t this woman do? Her collection includes 10 unique pieces made for guests of the wedding, brides, bridal showers, and wedding receptions. Her line stands out from her competitors because she’s included bodysuits, jumpsuits, and maxi skirts. The diversity of her designs are bound to win everyone’s heart. The best part is that the line is considerate of its shoppers, ranging from sizes zero to 14. Her pricing is reasonable, the prices start at $295, but go no higher than $2,395. What a steal! Here are a few pieces from her collection.
Kicking the collection off with one of her budget-friendly pieces, the Bow Back Bodysuit, $295, paired with a cream skirt maxi or midi skirt makes a chicly modern look perfect for spring and summer weddings. The bodysuit comes in four colors: black, blush, pale grey, and white making it easier to match a skirt. The silk bow is the finishing touch and brings the piece together.
If you’re a fan of the Bow Back Bodysuit but longing for a bit more, then you’re in luck. Identical to the bodysuit is the Bow Back Dress. The dress pattern follows the same pattern as the body suit, plunging V cut back and the bow to tie it all together. The front of the dress has a V cut neckline which differs from the bodysuit’s crewneck. This piece comes in four colors: black, red, light blue, and white.
No worries if bows and skirts aren’t your thing, because SJP has also designed the Halter Jumpsuit, versatile for any formal occasion. The jumpsuit creates an elongating look with the cinched waistline and the halter gives it a 70s appeal. This piece can work with any pair of formal shoes making it a staple in your closet. The jumpsuit comes in two colors: black and white.
Now for the grand finale, the Feather Dress. This is the line’s most expensive piece, ringing up at $2,395, and the details make it worth every penny. The top is a simple V neck with spaghetti straps. From the waist down, the simplicity fades into an adventurous embellishment and feather detailing. The feathers make a bold statement without making the dress look too complicated.
