As Fall approaches, many seek out new styles to start the season off right. Kaia Gerber is creating them. The young fashion mogul and model is launching a 2018 Fall/Winter capsule collection with famous designer Karl Lagerfeld.

After making her runway debut during Raf Simons’ Calvin Klein Collection show in 2017, Kaia is unstoppable. The daughter of esteemed supermodel, Cindy Crawford, Gerber is following in her mom’s influential footsteps at just sixteen.

Redefining fashion at a young age is an impressive feat, especially when doing it with the legendary Karl Lagerfeld, who has been a force in the fashion industry for over six decades. Lagerfeld currently holds the head creative director position at Fendi and Chanel, while producing his own label. His long list of accomplishments in the fashion world deems him a style deity.

The capsule collaboration named Karl Lagerfeld x Kaia will include Kaia’s classic, comfy style and Karl’s modern, rock, and Parisian influence. Pieces will include biker jackets, tuxedo blazers, and wetsuit inspired bodysuits. The line will also include jewelry, sunglasses, and many pieces adorned with their Karl Lagerfeld x Kaia Logo. According to wwd.com, prices will vary from $35 to $1,040.

The it girl and fashion legend’s revered 2018 collaboration will be released online August 30th at karl.com and revolve.com for two weeks before it hits retailers. On September 14th, the capsule will be in Selfrideges, La Rinascente, Breuninger, and Excelsior, according to WWD. The anticipation of this release has many excited for what the collection will feature.

Kaia expresses her admiration for Lagerfeld on karl.com stating: “I have loved being a part of the creative process and working with Karl is a dream. I’ve always thought that he’s a genius, so it’s amazing that he’s shown me some of his trade. It has given me a new appreciation for how hard designers work, and how much creativity and thought goes into every collection”.
