2018 is the year of bold trends and trends cycling their way to the present. Weed is trendier now than it was back in the sixties and seventies! Today, aside from the popular Juuls, marijuana is making its way into lots of beauty products. Cannabis in the form of cannabidiol- which is what CBD stands for, is being mixed into everything from moisturizers to bubble bath. Cannabidiol is the component of the cannabis plant that does not affect the brain, so no worries about a buzz- you won’t be getting one!
The most popular products cannabidiol is used for are lotions and balms that help with scoliosis, endometriosis and even eczema. CBD has gone so mainstream that Gwyneth Paltrow just launched a CBD-infused collaboration for her Goop-label beauty products. Here are a few products for the curious beauty guru to try out.
Cannabidiol is known to help with joint pain and reducing inflammation. This balm is great because it can be used directly on skin or can be served in your morning coffee or shake! I’ve tried this myself and it helps relieve my menstrual cramps minutes after drinking it in my coffee. Best $30 bucks you’ll ever spend for that time of the month.
Imagine a long day at work, a sore body from running around all day (maybe the gym if you’re a gym rat getting those gains) and having a million things to do for the week. The perfect end to your night would be lighting a candle, cracking open a bottle of red wine and what else you may ask? Drawing a bath and relaxing with your CBD infused himalayan salt bath bomb of course. This one is $12, which is definitely a few bucks more than the biggest bomb at Lush, but it contains 30mg of the cannabis oil. Gotta pay the bucks to feel good!
This is great for harsh winters! The natural properties of the oil make it a better alternative of getting vitamin d to your lips and getting that rich texture in the balm, $22. Burt’s Bees has found this to be a big competitor.

Aside from “Kush brow” just sounding hilarious and genius, this brow tint is super creamy and nourishing on those baby hairs. Milk Makeup has launched its own cbd infused makeup products, with the tint being one of them and Glossier is quaking. Try this tint for a textured gel, dark long-lasting coverage and non-crispy brows.
